Several power outages today may be the cause of my Horizontal Colman Furnace - Model# G8T08012UHA11A not firering up. The blower is working, but no heat due to the burner not firering up.
The FOUR FLASHES of the red LED light indicates High Aux. or Spill Limit Switch Open.
I cleaned the element that would ignite the furnace and checked the two small switches, both with two wires attached, by depressing the center button, but did not hear or feel a click of sorts to indicate being reset.
It is freezing in the house and I have no money to call a professional. I do have a friend who did the actual steps described above who is mechanically inclined, but this problem is more than he has the ability to recognize, but feels it is probably something relatively simple.
Can it be something so simple he cannot see it?
Please help me.
