Kitchen sink was draining slowly, so sent husband to investigate... after all he's the one who keeps washing food debris down the sink!!
He scraped out a load of white scum, masses of it. Bits of spaghetti as well. Some scum the size of large rocks. Still blocked though and over flowing on to the patio. So off he went to homebase and returned with some rods.
Managed to unblock it with the rods and a pressure washer. White scum presumably washing machine residue?
But the real problem now is husband managed to leave the spiral end of the rod in the drain!

Did he simply leave it there? I need more information about this "rod". What's it called? If it's not a snake then what is it? How far up the drain is it stuck? I need information and details before I can give you a solution. Regards, tom
