I've got a newer home, about 7 yrs. Old, in California. Over the last couple of years I've noticed that when I turn on my upstairs bathroom faucets, both hot and cold, I get a knocking and loss of flow (pulsating). I'd like to consider myself somewhat handy and refuse to pay someone to fix this problem. I saw an answer by Tom once before which talked about opening the angle stops. I'm wondering how this is different from just opening the handle (faucet), if that makes sense. Thanks in advance.

Tom is correct the angle stops controls the flow to the faucets if it is not fully open you will have reduced flow and if there is loose washer in the angle stop it will cause Vibration and noise, Thanks.
