Hiya,

I'm a virgin, but I had to have a smear test a couple of years ago and when I had the test I bled very badly afterwards - could having the test have broken my hymen because I've never had sex?

I'm due to have another test but I'm frightened that if this is not what happened, I might bleed badly again and I'm too embarrassed to ask my GP.

You might have broken your hymen.

I bled real bad when mine was broken, too.

There was blood everywhere.

You should really ask your doctor. That is what they are they for. They deal with this kind of stuff all the time. They are used to it :)
