Yes my fan on my outside unit is not spinning when the heat is on... can you possibly tell me what is wrong with it? And is it hurting it running with it not spinning? Cause it is heating in the house anyway.
Help asap

If it is a heat pump the fan motor is probably defective. It needs to be tested ON site. If you can do that OK if not call for professional service. It is not good if the outside unit is running all the time without the fan. You might turn the outside breaker or disconnect off till it is repaired. The inside unit should run and supply you with electric heat.
