Another question,

The igniter does not glow when the furnace blower comes on.. I did check it out with diagnostic test and it glowed during the test

That would indicate that whatever controls the igniter function is not allowing voltage through the igniter.

There are a number of reasons that could be -
The pressure switches that check for correct airflow into and out of the furnace may be malfunctioning, or the airflow path may be blocked.
I have found wasp nests, dead birds, and huge piles of dead bugs in my intake & exhaust piping and even in the burner airbox.

There should be a wiring diagram probably on the inside of one of the cover panels - find the igniter and work both directions from there to see
What it connects to and what controls it.
