POWZIK -Thanks for the satyuing I haven't heard for several years,since I was in ENGLAND the last time , Back in the 50's and 60's I hit three different bases over there. I was on the b-47 jet bomber at that time in S.A.C. NOW to let you know a little so far on the coin you have . Not much yet , :: KING GEORGE V ,was in reign from 1910 through 1936
You said that the date on the coin was 1917
And was a twenty cent piece, Im going to have to get a book on forign coins that goes back to 1890, My one book don't have the coin in it just a few while king GEORGE was in reigne,BUT none with that denominmanation ot it . It only showes about six coins at that time . WAS this a commertive coin?? :::
