I was hired as a security/ body guard /driver and house hold care taker for a woman going through a troubled divorce. She said she would pay me 2,500 a week and I worked over 20 weeks for her. She said she would pay me once she settled her divorce, which was to be substantial. She never paid me at all.
I worked for her from April 1st 2005 until October 2005.
I have not been paid and I want to place a lien on her home as collateral for my payment if possible.
She lives in Long Island New York and I reside in New York as well.
Please help me.

Agreement to an employment situation as you did sounds kind of strange and gullible. So, she promised to pay you fantastic amount of wages per week but if you drove/guarded/managed her house, did she look like she had the means to pay you that kind of money ?

Was this a verbal agreement, or did you have her sign on the dotted line, kennydo, because unless you have a written signed agreement, then I don't think you have much of a case to recupe your losses. You can't place a lien without getting a judgment against her in court without paperwork to back up your claim.

She owes you around $60M
