Are required by building code to have a STOVE VENT for an ELECTRICAL COOKTOP STOVE?
I currently have a ELECTRICAL COOKTOP STOVE that has a built-in VENT. The Vent motor and ducting are under the stove with a Vent grate opening in the middle of the stove.
I want to replace this Stove with another ELECTRICAL COOKTOP Stove but the new ones DON'T HAVE A BUILT-IN VENT. The salesman says that a VENT is not required for Eletrical STOVES since there is NO GAS to worry about. Is this True?
