I'd say work out 5 days a week and go on a strict diet: fruits, veggies, whole wheat, low fat yogurt...
No more greay, carb-filled foods.

If you're wanting to look and feel your best for the big day, I would say you should splurge and get yourself a personal trainer with whom to work regularly on proper diet and exercise. This would take the guess work out of the picture, and I'm sure it would also relieve you of the additional stresses that could be caused by taking on too many important plans at once.

weight loss comes from a combination of proper diet and working out. You have time, but you should start now. I think it takes about 4-6 weeks of "break in" time when you start a workout to really begin to feel the effects... notice I didn't say "see" the effects. Though you might see some changes, if you haven't been working out, your body needs time to get into the routine.
the suggestion about getting a personal trainer, if possible, is great. Even if you don't do it for the full time, a trainer can set you up on a proper schedule for success... you might even find that if you join a local gym that you can get a free consultation or one at a discounted fee.
also... studies show that those who use journals lose twice the weight. This means keeping track of what you eat and keeping a workout schedule. Put it down on paper. Make yourself check it off.
also, tied to the idea of a trainer, is the concept of a workout partner. Someone wholl keep you going. Company in "misery" so to speak.
a great way to keep yourself interested and see good results is to not do the same thing over and over and over. Your body needs to be confused. Challenged.
go to your local library and gets some workout dvds. They are easy to do in your own home, mix things up a bit, and aren't boring. For ex, I rotate pilates and tae bo just about every other day in the very early am so I can check off a workout, keep my metabolism cranked for the first half of the day, and often it lets me have time for a second workout later in the evening, such as a pleasant walk or ride.
I can't tell you how much weight you will lose. Its tied to your body, your workout, your proper diet. But you do have four whole months in front of you... that more than enough time to get things rolling.
besides, a workout is also a good stress reliever, so when the wedding planning gets to be too much, go hit a heavy bag. =)
the best news is this... have time to perhaps get to where you want to be... and even if you don't meet your perfect goal, you will be on that path, stronger and healthier.
