Manufactured in the 13th week of 01 and this is my first problem. Furnace ignior doesn't spark. The inducer fan operats fine and the valve emits its typical click for gas release and no spark at the ignitor. Unit operates until it determines there is no flame and shuts down with a 1 hr lockout code on the led. Everything seems to work except the ignition. This unit uses that two prong spark and not the ceramic glow plug type. Is this an easy fix just to replace the ignitor as that looks like a 5 minute job?

As posted above, make sure you have good clean connections. Otherwise could very well be your ICM.

Yeah... I checked all the connections, cleaned and reconnected. It is either the ignitor or the board. I have an ignitor coming today from a service rep. as I don't have any testing tools. It either works or it doesn't and we move on. I really think the board is OK as everything else seems to work properly. If not I will go online and find a replacement board. Any suggestions for furnace parts?

Tech brought out a new ignitor and it didn't spark so it looks like the board. He did offer to get me one for around $400 but I already had found one online for $163.00. Its on its way as I write so we will just wait until it arrives.
