I need to find an answer with my pre- calculus homework is really hard because is X2+2x+10=0 and I can't think of an answer. The method I have to use is completing the square

To complete the square:
x^2 + 2x + 10 =0
x^2 + 2x + 1 - 1 + 10 = 0
(x+1)^2 = -9
x+1 = +/- sqrt (-9)
x = +/- sqrt(-9) -1
Note that because the answer has a square root of a negative number, there are no real solutions to this. That is, if you make a graph of the function x^2 + 2x + 10 you will see that there is no place where the graph crosses the x axis.
