My question is can a 16 year old get emanstapated in Nevada? I am having some family problems. Is there any possible way I might become emanstapated?

It is possible.

You merely have to be employed, and earn enough money to pay your own rent. ( living with someone else is not an option at least in showing you can afford it) you have to show you can afford electric, food and all your bills.
You have to show how you plan on finishing your education.

After that you take the money you saved up, hire an attorney and file a motion in court.

And of course you have to prove there is a reason, you are in danager, they are cheating you in business arrangements, or some reason that you should not live at home.

After that there si nothing to it.

It's either that, or list your problems and talk to your parents about them.
Believe it or not, your parents were not always adults and they did not always have there 'stuff' together either. They probably had problems at your age too - some might even have been harder. So, I would try and give them a chance to see if things cannot be worked out.

It's a harsh and lonely world out there, and when you leave the 'nest' it can be worse. You could run into the wrong kind of people who will take advantage of you in ways that you cannot even imagine right now. It's always good to have a home to go to for comfort and rest when things get really rough out there.

Why not discuss some of your problems here with us so that we might be able to find solutions for you that you have not thought of yet. Tell us a little about your family and why you think it is no longer possible to be with them. Believe me, we've heard it all, and a lot of us have also lived through it all, so nothing will shock us and we do not judge.
