There is a boy who I feel like I love. I've really cared about him since I was in the 8th grade and now were both about to be juniors in HS. I just don't think he even remebers me from then and I think he goes for girls who are totally different than me. What should I do?

Hi Keiko. First of all hon, you are not in "love" with this boy. Infatuated?. yes! Romantic dreams of him?. yes! And that's okay, and very exciting. You are both very young, and I'm not trying to trivialize this, but next week or month you could be in "love" with another other boy, and trust me, you will be at some point. You are likely to be hurt many times, and cry your eyes out over a boy who dumps you for another girl. That is just what happens at your age, sorry to say.

The best thing you can do, is say hi when you see him, smile at him if he looks in your direction, talk to him if you get the chance, or even ask for his help with something he is good at. You might even want to ask him to go out with you and other friends to a movie or something.

Just have fun, but don't have high expectations. This is likely to be the best time of your life. You will like many boys, and as you get a bit older, your tastes will change too. It's called experience, and you'll need lots of that as you get older. (I don't mean experience in a sexual way either... careful in that dept. or you could REALLY get in trouble)

Young "love" (which is not real "love") is the best and worst time of your life. It will "feel" like it's real love, and the excitement of that is awesome. You will have the time of your life, and then you will cry your eyes out when it's over, but then you will find someone else who might be even more special.

Don't stress over it. Go with the flow of it, and if he still acts like he doesn't remember you, then move on to someone else who will.

Good luck! :)

You.. asking for help with something that he's good at is a good idea. You should know fairly quickly whether he likes you or not

Best of luck :D
