I have two outlets in my kitchen that worked prior to tiling the backsplash. Now the tiles up and the outlets don't work. They are apprx 3.5 feet from each other. The one to the west is 12 inches from a GFI outlet that works. I have reset all four GFI's in my house. I have reset every breaker at the box as well. Can anyone suggest a remedy for an electrical moron. Thanks in advance.

Well... if they quit after carpentry work, you may have just loosened a wire when moving the outlet(s) around. Worst case scenario is you put a fastener of some sort through a wire. You will need to pull the outlets back out and check the wiring. (power off) Then with the outlets out you can carefully power up the circuit and check the power to the outlets. It will take some trouble shooting... And if you are really an "electrical moron", have someone with the knowledge or qualifications do it for you. Safety first.
