I quit my job around Sept. At this time I would stay up well into the night finally nodding off around 3 or 4 in the morning. Well now I've found a part time job (A month and a half later) I usually work a 6 to 12am. Now my problem is since my body as gotten used to staying up when it wants I can't sleep, and when I finally do fall asleep it's 6 or 7 in the morning and I usually end up sleeping the day away only to get up at around 4 to get ready to go to work. It seems that I become really restless and can't really sleep at night. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my body to reverse its self and go back to being awake during the day and go to sleep at night?

Hi, CuteKami782!
In my opinion, I think this is a matter of self-discipline.
The first thing that I would do is to start going to bed at the hour that you think that you should in order to get the amount of rest that your body and mind needs, even if your mind and body are telling you that it's not time to do that. You're mind and body will get used to a new schedule, it just might take some time.
The second thing that I would recommend doing is changing your eating habits to accommodate properly, the schedule that you need to be on, like eating only at what would be the normal beginning, middle and dinner part of your day. Eating and drinking things right before a person goes to sleep can lead to potential problems in a number of ways...
Hopefully, others will come along to address your question with further ideas for you.
I wish you all the best!
Thanks!
