My fiancé and I recently decided that we wanted to have a baby before he left for Afghanistan in February 2010. I've been on the depo shot for two years now, and I don't have the time to wait 6-18 months to be fertile again. We want to have the baby before he leaves. Are there any fertility drugs that I can take to help me ovulate sooner and hopefully get pregnant in a quick? We are desperate for this! Please help!

Unless you have an actual problem with ovulating, your doctor won't prescribe fertility meds for you... (it would be foolish and unethical to do so). Unfortunately with depo there is just no way to know for sure how quickly you will become pregnant... but then, there is no way to know even if you hadn't used it. Some women become pregnant very soon after they stop the injections, some take quite a bit of time.
Certainly have a preconception visit with your doctor to go over what, if anything, they might do. Perhaps they will check for ovulation, that would let you know that pregnancy is possible and you can focus on getting pregnant before you fiancé leaves. Good luck!
