I am 22yr old female and my boyfriend and I were expecting our first child together earlier this yr. In July our baby passed away, I was 4 1/2 mons pregnant. Afterwards we decided that we wanted to try for another. We've been trying since then nothings happen. This past month I baught an ovulation test and it detected that I was ovulating on or around the 29-31 of October. We've been patiently waiting. Well my period starting 4days earlier on this month. What are we doing wrong?

Trying to hard?
People place way too much pressure on themselves especially after the loss of a baby. Been there, done that. If our second would have lived he and his older sister would have been only 2 years apart. Instead we have two wonderful girls that have given us 4 grandkids. Our girls are nearly 5 years apart. That was sad, but it was also Gods plan for us, so I am not too worried. And the girls survived it all despite their parents faults and mistakes.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your baby. It can take many months before a pregnancy happens, so it may be just a matter of time as 450donn said... and there are several variables that come into play besides timing.
When using ovulation kits, it is a good idea to start trying several days before you expect the positive as your odds increase if the sperm are already waiting for the egg.
Good luck... I hope you don't have to wait too much longer!

I have heard of many woman having good luck charting their cycles using various methods including: basal temperature, cervical mucus, and position. If you try that for a straight month than you can get a good idea of when are supposed to ovulate, before you actuall do!
Good Luck to you!!
