Hello Friends,
I want to know if any body get the H1B visa, but not get any project immediately, and want to come US immediately without having any project. Can he/she stay in US without having any project? If yes, how many days he/she can stay without any project in US?
If not, what kind of problems may occur if he/she stays? Please advice me.

Normally when you enter US with employment based visa such as H, L, or E, it means you are already employed. Visas are issued on basis that there are jobs available for you, no need to look for one.

It sounds fishy in this deal... consult the employer's attorney.
