My husband got 2 yrs for a gun charge in Kansas but the fed picked him up and they want to give him a plead bargin of 10 years but he don't get sentenced until January so I was wondering is it too late to get a different attorney and maybe try and get his time lowered and also can his 10 years be reduced for good time? Will he be able to Parole out or does that not happen in federal prison?

Hello pay:

If he already HAD his hearing where he was adjudicated GUILTY, then it's too late... Unless, he's really NOT guilty and he wants a trial. Even then it's going to be very difficult to take back his plea. But, they're not going to offer him a better deal.. The feds don't have parole.

Yes, it is too late to do anything since he has already been convicted. He's just now waiting for the sentencing phase in January.
