I am having problems with statistics. I am not even sure where to start. We are studying probabilities. Binomial distribution and classical approach. I am not sure which formulas to use. Once I get the formulas I know how to plug in the numbers.

Here is a LINK to a theoretic article precisely about that. See page # 60 and onwards (http://books.google.nl/books?id=mglNQLEQsIwC&pg=PA61&lpg=PA61&dq=Binomial+distribution+and+classical+approach&source=web&ots=lxLurW58tl&sig=Oc4mJcSXArMjjR0Bdcv2uFi61j4&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=7&ct=result)
A LINK to a little easier to follow article about the same! (http://safari.informit.com/0132291959/ch05)
