To start by saying I'm new here, so bare with me. My problem is that my periods are very very heavy and lasts about 7 full days. My problem this month is that this time it was very very light and only lasted two days. My tubes are tied(the less perminant type) and I'm not on birth control pills. Usually if I'm very stressed I skip it all together why this time is it light and short? Is there a chance that I could be pregnant?

I don't know about the (less perminate type) of tubal liguation (sp) but it could be something that would let you become pregnant. Have you been exposed recently? If yes strange things can happen.

If you've had intercourse lately, and think that might be the cause if you're not sure your tubs are well-tied, then may I suggest you do a home pregnancy test.

No matter what, it's best to reassure yourself by visiting your doctor in the very near future.

It is possible that tubes that are just tied and not cut, can become 'untied' and from there, anything could happen.

My husband and I have been sexually active. My tubes were tied 3 years ago. This is the first time anything like this has happened.

Then, please see a doctor, and get the reassurance you need. It's your body, take good care of it. Let us know how it turned out.
