I am being sued for outstanding medical bills can I pay them before it goes to court or should I wait to see what the judge say?

If you owe the money I'd pay it now rather than go to Court and have a Judgment taken against me, a Judgment which will stay on your credit report for about 7 years.

I do medical collections, take people to court, and enforcement of judgments, etc. Best thing you can do is contact the medical facility you owe money to and negotiate a pay off (they will often times take 50% or less if you pay it all at one time), or set up a payment plan and STICK TO IT. If you don't, the judgment will be for the entire amount PLUS court fees, and interest will begin to acrue (at least that is in Calif.). I hope this helps.:)
