Trying to cure a very slow bathtub drain...
I bought a snake that attaches to my power drill.
I took off the overflow hole cover (the cover also holds the
Drain stopper switch, and the switch from shower-to-tub,
So I pulled out some attached gear along with the cover).
The snake when down easy, but stopped firmly after about 2 feet,
And I am not able to go any further, even while pushing and
Drill-rotating the snake. ANy ideas?

Thanks!
Paul

Hi Paul,
You are in the bend of the "P" trap,(see image) This is a reture bend but once around the trap you only have to put out 10 more feet. Can you see the trap" It is a "P' trap and not a drum trap isn't it? Regards, tom
