Hi. I just re-installed ie7 for the 5th time and no connection. Mean while Firefox and avant have no problem. Now I can't uninstall it from the control panel. Win xp s.p3.

Isn't Avant just an add-on to IE? If your Avant is working then why not just use that? You could try uninstalling Avant then re-installing IE.

Any chance Norton is blocking the outbound traffic on Port 80? Or Windows Firewall?
