Gentlemen:

My wife and myself have suspicions about our house and what has been going on in the house.

Lately the following has happened:

1) things disappear and then reappear days or weeks later Maybe this is just being forgetful where we put something away.
2) We have an electronic door lock. I left the door opened one day and I knew I locked the door. This also happened with wife. She was more sure that she locked the house.
3)My children , twins ages 3, have been all hyped up after Halloween, We caught them an hour after we put the asleep tucked under one of the cribs . Our girl convinced our son
That there was a pink dragon the room. It turned out that we had a red like sheet with a print of a dragon on it and figure that was the dragon. The only confusion we have is that the sheet has been on the wall since they were born.

3)The house was built in the 1950's. We don't know of anyone murdered here or died here.
One of the oweners was a very wealthy businessman and his wife and children. The house was designed in an very eclectic manner. We hear strange noises at night. Nothing scary though. It sounds like papers being shuffled. I told her it was probably a chipmunk or an animal.
4) recently my wife drew crosses over doorways in rooms and afterwards looked at one of her fingers and noticed a small batch of blood on her finger which appears to be below her skin. I checked it and there was no cut on the outside.

5) Our dog has beheaved strange in the past. Once we caught him running into the bathtub and chiverring like he saw something he could not understand. He is a cocker spaniel

6) I have felt a presence in the house at times. I have awoken from a sleep and thought I saw someone peering at me. When I looked around it just disappeared.

7) I have also seen something in my hallway late at night a long time ago. As soon as I went to approach it, it disappeared.

We have told no one else at to our suspicions.

Are we all there? Is there possibly something here. Should we be in contact with a group of paranormal like ghost busters to investigate?

1) everyone has this in their homes. I think it's just forgetfulness, having a dog, or having two little children that can move things around.

2) consider calling your electrician if you think there's a problem or if it happens again.

3&3) have you considered the possibility that a dragon might have been murdered in the house? If not, what do you think the dragon could mean? :) seriously, I think your kids are just at that age where their imaginations begin to form verbally. Having two of them that young, it's likely they'll be feeding these ideas off each other. Do you even know if the original owners are dead? 50 years is not a very long time.

4) I think the answer to number four is that your wife was so tense when she was drawing those crosses around the house that she got a blood blister. Blood blister - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_blister)

5) I also have a cocker spaniel. Aren't they great dogs? Yours might simply have heard a noise that scared him. Dogs can hear all sorts of things we can't.

6&7) since you're already feeling spooked, you're likely to imagine all sorts of things. Just keep calm, and I'm sure you won't have anything to worry about.

If I were you, instead of hiring a ghost hunter, I might consider saving the money for a nice, relaxing trip somewhere. You might find that feeling a little less worried about things makes them reveal that there was nothing all that out of the ordinary to begin with.
