How to hook 4 inch abs to pvc pipe?

Best way to do this would be to use a 4" plastic to 4" plastic shielded clamp... see picture.
They make an ABS to PVC transition cement, but it is not allowed to be used above ground... at least that is what the OATEY chemist/manufacturer explained to me when I asked them if it could be used residentially.
