So I have a pitbull german shepard mix and she's like have seizers only in her head. When she lays down her head shakes uncontroably.Any suggestions on what could be causing this.

Hi Sassydog. Is this something new, or has it been going on for a while? Does it happen only when she's asleep? Only when she's lying down? Do her eyes make unusual movements while it's happening? Any other unusual behavior?

At any rate, since this problem may involve her nervous system, or her inner ear/sense of balance, or (not to be scary) it might even be epilepsy or something within the brain itself, I'd definitely get her to a trusted vet right away. NONE of these possibilities are small enough to trust to a wait-and-see approach. (It's about your girlie, after all. Got to do the best for her.)

A good vet could figure her issue out for you pretty quickly, most likely, and would get her comfortable and well again. So, to sum it up, I'd very definitely take her to a vet ASAP. You don't want to take chances with a dog who depends on you for her well-being, and the probability that this will simply go away on its own, without medical help, is about zero.

Seems like something that would feel awful to her, and she's probably scared and anxious too. You'll BOTH get some answers and relief by getting her to a trusted vet, and SOON. Good luck!

I absolutely agree with all of the advice given. You need to take her to a vet as soon as possible.
