In the State of South Carolina, can I lose my house that is paid for if I get sick and can not pay due to I can't afford health insurance?

If you are sued for unpaid medical bills and you declare bankruptcy, your house can't be taken.

Well excon this is the issue, if the house is fully paid for, they can not do a bankrutpcy, they have too much equity in the house.

So the answer to that question is yes it may be possible,
They will sue, they will get a judgement, they will take any money in the bank, put a garnishment on your pay first.
