I have a2002 olds it starts goes about 100 to 200 yds starts sputtering cuts off may or may not crank after that I will let rest cranks up again an does the same thing

How many miles does it have on it?
What is the maintenance history?
Does the problem occure when the engine is cold, or does it do it when warmed up as well?
You may have a fuel delivery issue. Or it could be ignition/spark related.
