:mad:hi I am in high school and every time my teachers Email my dad about a test he gets so crazy and won't let me even breath like giving me no time to do anything but study and sleep eat. So the problm is he makes me write a whole chapter with like 15 big long pages and said it will "HELP ME" BUT WRITING A LOT OF BORING HISTORY PAGES Won't "help me" I told him but he gets so crazy and starts talking $h1t I get so mad he acts like a fag and pisses me off I alrdy have tons of HW and he just tells me to write boring chapters instead of my homework and then he makes me do my school HW and write that I try to tell him but he just gets mad what should I do? I can't tell him its not helping I tried that.:eek::mad::mad::

You could try to concentrate on your homework and stay off the internet until your grades get better.

Be glad you dad cares enough about your education because there are plenty of parents out there that couldn't care less if their kids learned anything in school. I would imagine he gets angry because he knows you are capable of doing the work, you just don't do it.

If you truly are not getting the subject then ask your dad to get a tutor or ask the teacher for ways you can get your head around the difficult areas.

I don't know anything about your family but I do have one idea of what is going on, your dad did not do well in school beause he did not try hard enough and now he is having a hard time making a good living for his wife and family. So he is pushing you so much because he knows that if you do better in school you will also do better in you life.

You could talk to dad and ask him to assist you in part of your home work.

So study and bring up your grades to such a point he will not worry any longer
