I know it must vary state to state, but I am curious as to what some standard requirements might be to move out of state while on probation. I've been searching for an answer and all I have been able to find is basically complete the paperwork with your PO, wait for approval (or denial), and then possibly appeal. But what kind of details are going to be required? For example, what if you are currently separated and a divorce isn't final? Or if there are any issues pending with motor vehicle? Etc etc. Maybe a better question would be, what would prevent approval of a move out of state?
Also, is it true that if approved you will be given a date in the new state and must make sure the move is complete to report by that date?
And what if you moved to the new state and then wanted to come back? Would it even be more complicated to come back at that point? Or the same amount of trouble that it was to move the first time?
Thanks
