How can I take good pictures of myself... I mean the environment how should it be etc...

The steps necessary for taking a good photo of oneself is the same as taking a good photo of someone else, only you use a tripod for the camera, and either a remote cable release or the timer.

If you aren't a good portrait photographer and you need a good photo (e.g. for myspace, or a dating website), it's FAR better to have a good photographer take your photo than to try to take one yourself. For example:

This is a perfect illustration of the difference between good photos taken by a photographer, and photos taken by oneself with a camera phone! In this case the photographer-taken photos were candids, not a portrait session.

If you want to learn how to take good portrait photos (for yourself and others) it takes a lot more than can be explained in a forum like this. There are many things to learn about photography such as lens length (zoom setting) f-stop, shutter speed, ISO, lighting, background, makeup and hair (even for guys), etc.
