You need to go to the source of the records. For example, if you're looking for someone's criminal record, you'll need to go to the courthouse where that record is stored.

SOME public records ARE online. Others aren't. There isn't a single database where ALL public records are compiled.

Or, you can hire a private investigator. I certainly wouldn't pay any of these online search websites.
