How do u find the local maximun and local minium of a graph?

Not knowing what level of mathematics you are studying...

If you are familiar with finding the derivatives of functions, wherever f'(x)=0 you have either a local max or min. If the second derivative at that point is <0 then it's a local max; if it's >0 then it's a local min.
