I am looking for some freeware to convert shapefiles (.shp) to Mapsource/Garmin format (.mps or .gdb)..?

I am too , But we can use of PLTS for ArcGIS but It is not free

A very easy way of doing it is via the Ozzi-Explorer. Load your shapefile (waypoint or polygone) with Ozzi and save it as the GPX format (which is a standard option). Then open this file with Mapsource and send it directly to the GPS... you are done! :) Ozzi Explorer is free (the smaller version, which let's you perform the essential stuff with waypoints and tracks... ).

Geopainting provides a host of options depending on your finances, I am working out something with basecamp also.

I loaded point shape into OZZI-Explorer but not visible nor saving in GPX formate..?
