Ok I have been trying to find some of my favorite old movies from when I was little and trying to buy them now while I may still be able to find them. There is this one movie I can't remember the title too or remember the names of the actors but here is a description.

A man who teaches at a college owns several chimpanzies, He teaches them sign language. One of the chimps was named Amy, she wore a dress for a lot of the movie (well all his chimps wore clothes) The man gets news that his chimps are going to be takened away, so he packs them up and moves them to africa. He ends up living in this little hut, and falls in love with this chimp researcher there. At one point his chimps venture out away from the camp to view wild chimps. And they get so curious one day to meet these wild chimps they get too close and end up getting captured by preditors. Then it becomes a wild chase for the couple to save their chimps. Though I do not remember the ending.

I believe it is the wild and the free. I googled it and I think that actress on the cover looks familiar. Ooooh Im so excited. I really didn't think anyone would have ever remembered this one.

I recently bought Savanah smiles, and The golden Sealion. For some other 80's movies that I loved growing up. Might search the movie "The white Lion" too as I started to remember more movies I loved.

Ok now my search is for a movie called the while lion (or I believe that is the title. ) its based almost on the same concept as the other one. A man along with his wife and daughter move to africa, I think this guy was a doctor or scientist? And I remember a scene where after they moved there they were living in a hut, at one point the wife goes to move their things in to find a group of bamboons in there and it terrifies her. The husband takes a shot filled with something to burn their mouths to make them not want to come back and fills it inside some oranges, and then throws them in the hut. They all come running out lol and during the movie the go on a safari and see some white lions which are rare, and some how end up with a abandon cubs . The young girl had a monkey in the movie named Nickki. Which sadly got eaten by a lion in the bush. Sad part! Basically it's a family who studies the life of the lions. OH I remember another part if this helps. There was a part the white cub fell into a pit filled with mud. And while the mom was trying to get her daughter and cub out, a allegartor was creeping up to them and it was a tense moment wondering if they would get out before the gator got them. Just a few scenes to see if it rings a bell. I can't find the movie anywhere?
