My 93 Jaguar will start in morning but will not start after it cuts off when approaching a traffic light or ten minutes of drive. I just had new atarter, ignition coil and tune up repairs done but the mechanic can not diagnose or find this problem. Any suggestions what might be the trouble. I do not want to spend too much money. Do I have to take it to the dealership?

Over time, heat frequently causes the microchip in the Ignition Control Module to fail. If the problem persists, test/replace this problematic component:

Faulty fuel pump? Usually restarts afterwards...
Relay contacts toasted? Try a new relay from, let's say, the horn or headlights..
Where is the car? Can you get someone else to give you a hands-on diag?
