Greetings from a new member.

Is it possible to convert a 3 phase outlet to a single phase outlet?
I have a 220vac 60amp 1p compressor that I would like to wire up.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Yes, you can connect a single phase device to a 3 phase feeder by simply using any two of the three hot legs of the 3 phase feeder.

You mention the motor is 220 volt rated. Is this the voltage stated on the neameplate?

Note what the voltage is on your three phase system, it should be 208 volt.

A 220, 230, or 240 volt motor will run on 208, however, the performance may be affected, and certainly the running amps will be affected, and any overload protection will need to be set appropriately.
