We have new tenants above us. They are constantly complaining and there have been more problems reported to the landlord in all the years I've lived there. I have lived in the building for 4 years and have never had a problem with any other tenants. We had an argument in one of the common areas of the shared home. In my opinion neither party was at fault it was an argument. They believe they are missing china from their storage which is completely false. It was a heated argument and it ceased. 2 hours later the police were at my door stating that I threatened bodily harm which I would never do and there was a silent witness in the room at the time.

The police showed 2 hours later so needless to say I was very surprised. This is a false report and I am worried and very upset about all this. What can I do as recourse I feel threatened by this in my own home. It seems very extreme to have a verbal argument and then all of a sudden the police show up. What recourse do I have?

Hello sun:

Well, from a legal perspective, you have none. Obviously, the cops didn't arrest anybody.

In the world there are the intimidators, and the intimidated. If I lived there, they wouldn't be bothering ME. You need to learn how to INTIMIDATE THEM. There's a book on how you can learn it, by Robert Ringer, called, Winning Through Intimidation.

Buy it. Do it, and live in peace.
