I was contracted by a property management firm in Nebraska to mow lawns in Virginia. I have not received payment. What recourse can I take against this company.

Assuming you have a signed contract and records detailing your work for this compnay, then your first course of action is to send them a letter detailing what they owe you.

If they refuse or ignore you then sue them.

I agree with CurlyBen. I would also recommend contacting the owner of the propeties you mowed directly.

They might like to know how their property managers are doing.

And/or you may be able to file a vendor's lien against the property.
