I am going from a single zone hot water system to a dual zone. Have Aqua-stat #L8148E and two thermostats with two Honeywell #V8043F 1036 zone vales already mounted & ready to go but need help with the electrical wiring. Can anyone help me with a simple schematic that will get the job done or some kind of direction, thanks.

First the zone valve came with a wiring diagram for it. Look in the box. If you cannot find it look below.

Aquastat

No you have all the info you need to wire your project.

Note you do not have to add a new aquastat to your system. You only need one aquastat.

The aquastat shows where the thermostat wires connect and the zone valves show where the thermostats connect.

Now for the fun part that really needs to be done ON SITE.

You will have to supply the zone valves with a controlled 24 volt circuit and you might have to use isloation relays to complete the thermostat connection circuit depending upon the Brand and model of thermostat and how you exactly choose to wire the system.

Warning!! If you do not know what you are doing with these combination low voltage circuits I suggest you stop now and call for a professional HVAC company for ON SITE SERVICE.

Trying to explain all the different options with all the different components on this message board can be difficult if not impossible to do without taking the risk of damage to the components or your system. I have laid out all your components and if you feel confident in your ability go for it if not call in a pro for ON SITE SERVICE.
