Hey guys I have a 99 chevy silverado 6.0 l extended cab truck... when I am at a stop and go to accelerate fast it bogs and I lose a lot of power from a stop... but than it recovers and seems to shift fine... but every time from a stop it will do it or if I'm in park and go to rev it it will bog as well... I heard maybe fuel pumper or possible filter... any help would be appreciated thanks... jeff

. Replace platinum spark plugs (ACDelco only).
. Replace fuel filter.
. Change transmission fluid and filter.

Replace your sparkplugs with the factory AC Delco ones and replace the fuel filter. Also, check your air filter for good measure.

You really can't stress the AC delco plugs enough, and sounds to me like its not getting fuel either, try changing the filter, and if that doesn't work, see if you can't have the fuel pressure checked, that's where I would start

Consider the condition of the injectors and perhaps the entire health of the intake.
If your could have a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) that isn't responding, or maybe need to have the injectors cleaned professionally.
What is your maintenance history?
Sometimes, carbon can build up on the valves can affect performance significantly.
