I have an Energy Kinetics System 2000 boiler. It is hooked up to two different zones (two different air handlers). Zone 1 (main house) when turned on at the thermostat clicks and calls for heat, the boiler starts for a bit but the fan/blower never kicks on. Zone 2 (master bedroom) works just fine. Where is my problem? What can possibly need replacement?

You need to track down that fan circuit and see which device that controls the fan is not woring or the motor for the fan could be defective.

HVAC1000, Please see photo attached. What is the name of this unit (control/thermostat)? And can this be it?

That is definitely some type of fan control or it could be a limit control. Can you get the exact part number off it?

Is that strapped to a hot water pipe? OR does it have a cap tube with a bulb in a well in the pipe?

--Yes, it is a limit control: Honeywell, Aquastat L6006C. The settings are 190 and 15.
--I found some other posts where people suggested to try different settings and I tried that but it did not work.
--Yes, it is strapped to a pipe but I think the tube part was cut off from it.
--The motor for the fan is working fine.

The limit sets the high water temp and the 15 is probably the differential.

You are going to have to locate the control that is causing the problem. I suggest starting from the fan coil and working back to the boiler.

There can be many combinations of controls on this type of system.

I had to call in for service because I was having more problems with my boiler; now it wasn't staying on long. It was shutting off frequently, and I had to keep resetting it. When the service guys came down to fix that problem, I asked them about my other zone not working, and they said it was never going to work with WATER LINE RETURN VALVE SHUT OFF. I learned that the water circulates all around in a loop; out the boiler to the air handler and back. There is a valve key on the copper pipe shortly after it leaves the boiler and another shut off valve on the return. I had the return valve off. Who would've figured? What a simple solution.
