Well,
You don't format anything with Fdisk, it's for creating and deleting partitions on the drive - which you then format either from a dos bootdisk or from within windows (or other OS of course).
Re-create a windows 98 bootdisk or download one from www.bootdisk.com (http://www.bootdisk.com)
Find out which drive you want to format - if it's the only one it'l be C: . Then boot from the floppy disk, type format c: (where c is the letter of the partition you want to format.
Please be sure you want to format the drive before doing this!!
Edit: if you don't have any partitions on the drive, then yes, you need to use fdisk. It should work from a newly created win98 boot disk.

Oh Im sorry about that q... I know how to format my real problem is the fdisk error... my bootdisk is downloaded from site that you have mentioned... I have to make partition first before I can install the windows... Every time I boot my PC, c:\> is just a virtual drive d:\> is my CD-ROM...
I want to know the reason for this fdisk error (run-time error R6003 - integer divide by 0) and how am I going to fix this...

Try without the bootdisk - use your Windows CD instead. If it's a version newer than Windows 98 it'll give you the option to be able to boot into the setup from there. From that you can delete, recreate and format any partitions (unless you want to create Linux partitions)

I have to make partition first before I can install the windows... Actually you don't - just format the whole drive then install Windows. Any XP boot CD will do this.

Well guys thank for the response but its OK now I think its just the cable or power connection I just unplug and plug then its OK now HD is present...
When you install a windows after setup coppied to HD PC reboot then windows setup right but why it seems not running there should be files setting up appearing on the bottom white bar right then after that PC should reboot again...
