I am 3 days late and having a lot of white muscus discharge I took 2 pregnancy tests on different days and still came out negative is my period about to start or am I pregnant and to early to tell?my husband and I keep trying, could this be that am thinking too much into it because the last time this happened, my period came 5 days later. I have been pregnant before but I don't remember the symptoms.

It really is just a matter of waiting a bit longer. For some women, it may take a few weeks before a pregnancy test confirms it. Could be that your period is just off a bit this cycle.
Wait a little longer and see what happens. Try another test, or see your doctor about having one, if your period still doesn't show up in another week or so.
