Hi everyone, so I have been with my Bf for 4 months and his birthday is coming up in about a week from now and I don't know what to give him. I asked his old babysitter and his brothers what I could get him. They said anything that I can make him he will LOVE! Other of his ex's have made him crafty stuff and although I can be creative when I have inspiration, I have never done something to give as a gift! Pressure! So I don't really know how to make anything cool but I am willing to learn and do it
So anybody have any good ideas? Any good websites? With step by step instructions?? anything??
Yikes!

What about a special mix cd? It's not necessarily "crafty" but it will show him that you've spent time on him and thought about the gift. You could pick special songs - maybe the song that was playing in the car the first time you went out, or the song in a restaurant, the song in Wal-mart when you were shopping, songs that remind you of him, etc.

I wouldn't try to be exactly like his old girlfriend - trying to "one-up" her, just be yourself - do things that YOU can do that you know he'd like.

Or, you know, guys always LOVE it when girls bake/cook for them. What about making him a themed dinner? French theme (little French cafe) or an Italian meal (complete with drippy candles, Italian music, and espresso for desert!)?

Above all, whatever you decide to do, make sure it says YOU, not you-trying-to-be-the-same-as-his-ex.

Think about what he likes and create it! :)

Good luck!

Thanks yea a CD sounds good! I would not go for the dinner cause one time he was browsing thro his old Pictures and I asked him about a pic of a table all dressed up with candles and fancy plates, he said it was a surprise an old Gf did for him :( so yea would not want to repeat that again. Its tough. But ill try the CD thing
