Hi, merfon!
Unfortunately, most of the ways to make money online that you'll find on the Internet are scams.
We do care very much about you obtaining gainful employment for yourself. What sort of skills, education, training and work history it is that you have, please?
Thanks!

Merfon,
Actually, there are legitimate real jobs that can be done from home. You will just have to look for them and apply yourself as a professional. Depending on your skills, you can try elance.com. It is free to join and you submit proposals for jobs. Guru.com is another to try. Both work the same way and both require you to sell yourself to the client. Jobs include data entry, research, marketing, and lots more.
Check them out. As I mentioned before they are free.
Good luck in your job search and I hope you recover fully from your surgery.
