Remove the RED cards from the deck and assume that the remaining cards have been shuffled. Select a card from the remaining deck. Do NOT replace the card. Select another card. What is the probability that a red 3 is selected and a face card is selected?

Would it be 1/3 or 33%?

All of the reds have been taken out, so how would you select a red card?

You removed all the red ones from the deck... so you don't have any red cards in the deck when you draw from it... right? So 0% on the red card... 52 cards in a deck.. 13 each suit. 52 minus the 26 red cards minus the previous one drawn out... so 25 in the remaining.. that leaves jack, queen, king for two suits... thats 6 out of 26 cards... 6 divided by 26 which is .2307 or 23.07%.. but lets say that first card you pulled out was a face card... then you would have 5 out of 26 which is .1923 or 19.23%

Oops 5 divided by 25 is .2 or 20%...

And the first one should be 6 out of 25... or .24... sorry wasn't paying attention
