I have a kenmoore window fan 2 way with 3 pseed that I took a part to clean.now I am having a hard time to reconnnectthe wires to the switch control. There is 6 wires coming out of the fan... thank you

When you say two speed, it is reversible?

Which switch did you remove, the reverse switch or the 3 speed switch? 3 speed switch should only have 4 wires.

I have a Lakewood brand window fan that is 3-speed, 2-way, all in one control knob. The switch quit working and I am looking for a replacement switch. This may be the same fan as the Kenmore that you describe. If you can send me a picture of your switch I may be able to tell you how mine is wired.
